Glenn Tommie and Doug Nixon attended the AER 32nd Annual Conference -
"LEGENDS IN BLINDNESS: Miracles, Music, and More" is the theme for Alabama AER’s 32nd Annual Training Conference, October 7 – 9, 2015. A major part of this event is an educational guided bus tour planned for participants to visit Ivy Green the home of Helen Keller, the birthplace of blind music achiever W.C. Handy, and the renowned music recording studios Muscle Shoals Sound and Florence Alabama Music Entertainment (FAME) where Clarence Carter recorded his hit songs “Slip Away”, “Patches”, and the infamous AER conference dance favorite “Strokin”!
